The ground floor has a large sitting room off the hallway, with plenty of seating, including a window seat and TV, where everyone can be very comfortable together. A door leads to the sunny conservatory which has a TV and a wood burning stove for cooler days.
There is a ‘chef-equipped’ kitchen with a large dining table for 14 and TV. Leading from the kitchen to the conservatory is a small living room/snug with a 52 inch HDTV and seating for 6 people.
There’s space to be together and space to be apart, with 6 bedrooms to escape to for a cosy doze, to watch TV or read.
'Mourneview' has a ground floor king bedroom directly off the kitchen, with nearby shower room and separate toilet with wash hand basin. There is a also handy work desk with lamp.
The main bedroom upstairs has a 6ft super king bed (2 connected singles), TV and an ensuite bathroom with bath and over-bath shower. There are three further double bedrooms, all with work desks. One of these leads to a loft bedroom, perfect for the children, with two double beds, sofas, TV and a play den with toys, books and games and a dolls' house. The upstairs family bathroom has a bath and separate shower.
There is a downstairs utility and laundry room with washing machine and 3 drawer freezer.
There are smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms installed, along with a fire extinguisher and first aid kit.
'Mourneview' is family-friendly with play den, travel cot, high chair, books, board games, toys and all the paraphernalia for little ones. Decluttered of breakables for stress free fun!
The décor and furnishings are traditional with a farmhouse vibe; fresh blue and white with splashes of sunny ochre. Ambient lighting, rural art and leafy living plants make a soft calm sanctuary to spend ‘R’s’ to Relax, Recharge, Reconnect and Reset!
'Mourneview' is just a 20 minute drive from the beach and all of Newcastle's amenities, including the famous Royal County Down Golf Club.

It's only a 20 minute drive to Castlewellan Forest Park with lake, mountain bike tracks, walking trails, play park, giant Peace Maze and a private outdoor company for fun activities and bike hire. The arboretum is of historical importance and the gardens and forest walks are beautiful in any season.
You might like to pay a visit to the Whitewater Brewery, on Clarkhill Road, established in 1996 on the fifth generation family farm, amidst the spectacular Mourne Mountains. The Whitewater Brewery still retains the passion and desire to brew beers with fantastic flavours!
It's again just a 20 minute drive to the town of Newcastle, with a beautiful sandy beach (please bring your own beach towels), promenade, pubs and lots of excellent eateries.
Want to hire a bike or an e-bike? 'Bike Mourne' on the Central Promenade provide both and also offer biking tours.

Another 20 minute drive away from 'Mourneview' you'll find the Official Game of Thrones Studio Tour. Step behind the scenes at the principal film studios on a journey from the conceptual stages of Game of Thrones and into the heart of Westeros, where you’ll be in awe of giants and dragons, and the real Iron Throne.
The FE McWilliam Gallery is also worth a visit, featuring a permanent display of McWilliam’s work, temporary exhibitions of Irish and international art, a craft shop, café and the F.E. McWilliam Gallery and Studio.
